2020 KPMG Global Energy Conference

The Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston, 1600 West Loop South | Houston, TX

For the past 18 years, we have looked forward to connecting in person at our annual Global Energy Conference (GEC). The conference planned May was no exception.

Unfortunately, given concerns around COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 GEC, scheduled for May 20 at The Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston.

We are saddened; however, KPMG is committed to the health and well-being of our professionals, our clients, and the communities in which we operate. Our decision follows guidance from relevant government bodies and public health experts, including the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and International SOS (ISOS).

For more details on the conference cancelation details, please visit our Cancellation FAQ page for details.

We are exploring new ways to deliver valuable insights to you via our Global Energy Institute and will follow up with virtual alternatives to our robust conference program which was packed with insights from industry and business leaders around issues affecting oil and gas, power and utilities, renewable energy, and so much more. We are also developing programs on COVID-19-related issues affecting the industry that may help to guide you through this uncertain time. Our Resilience Readiness site here is being updated regularly.

Until then, I hope you are staying healthy and safe—take care of yourselves and each other.
