Gasoline manufacturing demand and supply continues to evolve, both in the U.S. and globally. Our panelists will discuss the projected uptake for electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel’s potential, and when and where the sector might see an impact. We will review the various strategies that large, independent downstream players are deploying in the face of change, including downstream value integration and extension of petrochemicals, the use of polymer gel technology to maximize production efficiency, and leveraging scale to lower costs. We also will cover how companies may manage capacity by closing refineries in certain geographies and developing greenfield facilities in others.
