Accelerating the Energy Transformation: The Race to Net Zero

Webcast overview

With the Biden administration and its strong focus on climate, the net zero by 2050 agenda is moving forward quickly and companies should be ready to respond.  A combination of executive order actions and potential legislation to move climate action forward will likely include a mixture of renewable incentives, green infrastructure and mobility solutions, and utilizing the whole government approach to address the climate crisis, among other initiatives.

The KPMG Global Energy Institute is pleased to invite you to join us for a discussion on the critical role the energy industry needs to play in the race to Net Zero. In this webinar we will examine the acceleration of net zero commitments and the drive to implement decarbonization solutions across all sectors. The session will discuss the importance of energy solutions such as renewables, energy efficiency, and transition technologies such as hydrogen and biofuels to help deliver on these net zero commitments.

The key question is how the energy industry is responding to this new challenge and whether the net zero phenomenon is an opportunity or an existential risk.
