The Biden Administration’s Green Book tax proposals - What does it mean for the energy industry?

Webcast overview

On May 28, 2021, the U.S. Treasury released its Explanations of the Administration’s Fiscal Year 2022 Revenue Proposals, more commonly referred to as the “Green Book”. This document provides detailed explanations of the Biden Administration’s revenue proposals related to the Made in America Tax Plan and the American Families Plan.

The KPMG Global Energy Institute is pleased to invite you to join us for 90-minute discussion on the energy corporate and tax related proposals in the Green Book. This webcast will detail the impacts to the energy industry and how the proposals seek to prioritize renewable energy through the expansion of new tax credits and providing alternative tax incentives.

The webcast panel will engage in a thought-provoking discussion on the following topics:

  • Overview of Green Book
  • Analysis of provisions impacting the Oil & Gas, Power & Utility, and Natural Resources industries
  • Discussion of the expansions and modifications to the renewable energy provisions that could impact all energy industry segments
