Webcast overview:
Venture capital (VC) investment in the United States continued to be strong in Q2’18, with deal values increasing across all stages. Additionally, the number of U.S. VC financings in excess of $250 million in funding reached double figures. We also saw a very strong first half of the year as it relates to the IPO market. At this pace, this year could turn out to be one of the largest on record in terms of IPO deal value. The first half of 2018 also saw notable M&A activity, with acquisitions continuing to represent an attractive exit option for VC-backed companies.
Join KPMG LLP’s (KPMG) Venture Capital Practice for our Semiannual IPO and M&A Outlook Webcast where our panel of KPMG professionals will review the state of the IPO, M&A, and overall VC environment, and provide their insights on what to expect for the remainder of the year.
