COVID-19 has forced the U.S higher education system to come to grips with its future. Most urgently, colleges and universities have had to find ways to operate safely as the virus continues to spread – through remote learning and new on-campus routines. But COVID-19 also complels institutions to fully address longstanding issues that can no longer be ignored – most critically, outdated operating models that drive high costs and reduce assets.
