COVID-19 turned our world upside down, changing lives and businesses forever but thankfully some collaborations grew even stronger. Early in the fight against the virus BioReference hired KPMG LLP and others to help it transform an abandoned warehouse into a state-of-the-art testing facility in just six weeks. Then KPMG helped BioReference support the country's largest sports leagues in providing daily testing for its players. Fans were able to see their favorite teams and star athletes compete bringing some sense of normalcy amid the chaos. With KPMG LLP's assistance with program management and operational planning, BioReference provided the on-site testing so fans could attend one of the most important championship games of the year.
When the first vaccines were developed to fight COVID-19, The MENTOR Network, a national network of health and human services providers hired KPMG to help them develop and manage a program to deliver vaccines to more than 20,000 employees and the individuals that they serve. KPMG has been helping our clients to transform healthcare and the life sciences by developing and embracing new approaches, from diagnosis to prevention to treatment of COVID-19, saving lives and showing what we all can accomplish together.
