WEBCAST

Preparing for the DSCSA Saleable Returns Requirement

Webcast Overview:

As manufacturers finalize packaging line retrofits and labeling changes to meet the unique identifier requirements of the Drug Supply Chain Security Act, another hurdle looms on the horizon. November 27, 2019 marks the next major U.S. milestone on the road to 2023 and full product traceability. Each wholesale distributor will be required to “verify” the product identifier on each unit (or sealed homogenous case) returned that the wholesale distributor seeks to resell.

On this Webcast, KPMG’s Dave Colombo and Chris Reed – from our Life Sciences Advisory team – will discuss the Verification Router Service (VRS) network, a solution ecosystem developed by the industry to facilitate saleable returns verification between manufacturers and distributors. We will focus on the state of the VRS ecosystem readiness, the architecture, key considerations, and the impacts to both manufactures and distributors.
