When you think about how all this change is happening and where manufacturing is going.
A lot of how automotive has worked in the past has been to design models and then take them to scale over hundreds of thousands, if not millions of units, over a five to seven year period, with kind of OEM dictated option packages that are pushed to the market.
I think the transformation is going to happen is around more customization of vehicles either for mission specific design or consumer preferences.
Where this idea of mass customization building its scale, but allowing customization at an economical price point is going to be the big change it happens in manufacturing.
